Abstract

The present work aims to analyze the intertextual connections between the songs "Programado Pra Morre" by Trilha Sonora do Gueto and "Vida Loka, Pt. II" by Racionais MC's. Specifically, it investigates the role of sampling in these compositions, highlighting their relevance in the construction of mythological and poetic narratives. It also addresses the impact of the music video as a complete work, discussing fashion and scenery as elements that contribute to the visual identity and message of the work. The study indicates how these artistic expressions reflect the reality of marginalized areas and bring forth social and political issues.
